Interests

I am deeply passionate about refugee issues. I love to read. I play the piano, flute and guitar. I enjoy bike rides, walking, hiking and canoing. I think cooking is one of my therapies. I would love to live overseas again, if the chance should arise. I like nature-inspired jewelry. I am very involved with my church (St. Anthony Park Lutheran) - it's a great place to find a community. The Office makes me laugh. I love watching movies in general. I am trying to grow summer squash, tomatoes and basil this year on my balcony. I try to shop organic, used and recycled. I love God.
